The market is so beautiful.  There are two within a short walk.

The restaurant had two Spanish Guitar players last night.   It made our pizza quite magical.   We ordered roasted veggies in lieu of a salad.  They were fabulous.

Salvador Dahli -     This was a "must" on Fred's list of things to see.   He generally doesn't steer me wrong, and when he is excited to see something, he has researched it enough to be the docent..   There is lots of information that I have used to "prep" myself for the trip.... skim through if you like.

The Salvador Dahli Museum was designed by Dahli himself and is of the same fanciful surprises as most of his surrealistic paintings.

Oh Ya, The Mustache- Can't forget that.

Salvadore Dahli
was a prominent Spanish painter born in Figueres, Catalonia, Spain.

Dalí was a skilled draftsman, best known for the striking and bizarre images in his surrealist work. His painterly skills are often attributed to the influence of Renaissance masters.[1][2] His best-known work, The Persistence of Memory, was completed in August 1931. Dalí's expansive artistic repertoire included film, sculpture, and photography, in collaboration with a range of artists in a variety of media.
Surrealism was a cultural movement that began in the early 1920s, and is best known for its visual artworks and writings. The aim was to "resolve the previously contradictory conditions of dream and reality". Artists painted unnerving, illogical scenes with photographic precision, created strange creatures from everyday objects and developed painting techniques that allowed the unconscious to express itself.

What did he paint?...   It might help to know that Dahli was the " Melting Clocks Guy".   We have seen his paintings, but we forget who painted them... I did anyway.
